No views on Vinted? Why it happens and how to fix it

A listing with no views is almost never being "punished" by Vinted. It simply can't be found: filed in the wrong place, badly named, or buried under newer listings. Before you drop the price, check these six points, in this order.

1. The title doesn't contain the words buyers type

"Lovely jumper" matches no search. "Sandro wool roll neck jumper beige M" matches four. Your title needs the item type, brand, colour and size. Our Vinted title guide gives the full formula.

2. The category or size is wrong

Buyers filter: category, size, brand, condition. A dress filed under "Tops" or a missing size, and the listing vanishes from every filtered result. It's the most common cause, and the quickest to fix.

3. The first photo doesn't earn the click

In the feed, it's all anyone sees. Creased item, dark photo, cluttered background: nobody opens it. A flat lay in daylight on a plain background is enough — the basics are in how to photograph your clothes.

4. The description is empty

Search reads the description too. Fabric, fit, occasion, style: every accurate word is one more way in. See our Vinted description template and the hashtag lists by style.

5. Your price puts you outside the filters

Many buyers set a maximum price. At £21, you're invisible to everyone who set the filter to £20. Check comparable listings before you publish: how to price your items.

6. Timing and season

A coat in July, swimwear in December: the views will come, but later. And a listing published at 3 am has already slid below the next ones by the time buyers wake up. List in the evening or at the weekend.

And if everything checks out?

Give it 48 hours before drawing conclusions: views often come in waves. If nothing moves after a week, redo the listing rather than cutting the price blindly. FriShot rewrites it from your photos — title, description, hashtags, suggested price — and you can try it without creating an account.
