🛒 Publishing on eBay from FriShot

Your listings are already written for Vinted. FriShot publishes them on eBay too, at no extra credit, once you have bought a pack. Allow ten minutes the first time, then one tick box per listing.

1. Have an eBay account

If you don't have one: sign up on ebay.fr (private or business account), then confirm your email and phone number. If you already have one, go to step 2.

2. Activate seller status

This is the step everyone forgets. An eBay account that has never sold is not a seller account: eBay then refuses any listing coming from a tool, asking you to "provide additional information".

The fix: put one listing online by hand on ebay.fr, just once (the "Sell" button). That flow creates your seller account. eBay will ask for your bank details then or at your first sale. You can delete that listing afterwards.

3. Fill in your address in FriShot

In the app: My account → My billing details. Write your full address: street, postcode, city. eBay requires a shipping location, and FriShot creates it from that address.

4. Connect eBay

In My account → 🛒 eBay, click "Connect my eBay account". An eBay tab opens: you sign in on eBay and grant access. FriShot never sees your eBay password. Back in FriShot, the card shows "account connected".

5. Prepare the account (once)

Click "Prepare the account". FriShot creates on eBay, in your name:

a shipping location, at your profile address;
a shipping policy: Mondial Relay pick-up point €4.99, Colissimo €6.99, dispatch within 3 days;
a return policy: returns accepted for 30 days, return postage paid by the buyer;
a standard eBay payment policy.

Everything can be changed afterwards in your eBay Seller Hub (Business policies). If you already had your own policies, FriShot reuses them.

6. Publish

On a listing that is ready to publish, tick "🛒 Also publish on eBay": the 🚀 button publishes it in both places. For a listing already on Vinted, open it in the Archives and click "Publish on eBay".

FriShot adapts the listing: title cut to 80 characters, hashtags removed, eBay item specifics (brand, size, colour, material) filled from the analysis, same price as on Vinted. An unknown specific is never invented.

7. When the item sells on Vinted

On a computer, the FriShot Connect extension re-reads your wardrobe every 15 minutes and FriShot withdraws the eBay listing of the sold item. You get an email. A Chrome window must be open and signed in to Vinted: with Chrome closed, nothing is seen.

On a phone there is no extension: withdraw the listing yourself, from the item in FriShot ("Withdraw from eBay").

8. When the item sells on eBay

FriShot emails you within minutes. You remove the Vinted listing yourself: FriShot never touches your Vinted account. Shipping, label and tracking are handled in your eBay Seller Hub.

A refusal? The fix

"Provide additional information to create your seller account"	Your eBay account has no seller status. Go back to step 2: one listing published by hand on ebay.fr.
"Fill in your full address first"	Your profile address has no readable postcode. Go back to step 3, then "Prepare the account".
"No suggested price on this item"	The listing has no price. Type it in the item's "Suggested price" field.
"Already published on eBay"	The listing is live. To republish it, withdraw it first.
"eBay is included from your first pack"	The channel opens at your first credit purchase. Trial credits don't activate it.
An error mentioning a missing item specific	eBay requires a field the analysis did not find. Try publishing again: FriShot fills what it honestly can. If the refusal persists, write to us.

Fees and quotas are eBay's. At the time of writing, ebay.fr charges private sellers no commission and offers 150 listings a month. Check the current terms on eBay. Publishing from FriShot goes to ebay.fr (France) for now.
